A windy day in South Osaka

Osaka is a relatively warm city for Japan, but on this day, the wind was strong and it was quite chilly. Modern DJI drones are impressive; even in such powerful winds, they can fly steadily without being blown off course. Since Japan is surrounded by the sea, the humidity is usually high, which often results in landscapes that look a bit muted or hazy. However, in winter, there are days like today when the humidity drops and the scenery becomes vivid. Because of that, despite the freezing cold, I was able to capture vibrant footage that looked almost tropical.

Before launching the drone, I ate some hot cup soba, but it did nothing to warm my body. Afterward, I walked along the coastline while listening to YouTube. It was so cold that I even had some shochu with hot water, but that didn’t help at all either. On my way back, I stopped by a shopping mall and had a cheap steak. Rice prices are high right now, yet for some reason, the steak remains inexpensive. Being someone who dislikes crowded places, I left the mall as soon as I finished my meal and took a quiet local train home, watching the ocean scenery pass by.
