VR is also highly compatible with drones. By capturing footage for the left and right eyes using two drones and merging them, you can create a “miniature effect” of the landscape. If you are satisfied with still images, the process is even simpler. You just need to mount an action camera with an ultra-wide-angle lens on a drone, record a video, and then extract two perfectly timed still frames from it. A great advantage of this method is the ability to freely adjust the scale of the miniature effect.
